Paul Cahill

President

Since 1990, Mr. Cahill has developed Sofix into a world-class specialty chemical manufacturing operation with 3rd party registrations for ISO 9001 (quality) and RC14001® (environment, health, safety, transportation, and security), implemented within a framework of the Baldrige Criteria. Prior to Sofix, Mr. Cahill held management positions in brominated flame retardants at a leading specialty chemical manufacturer. He holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Rolla, Missouri, and has served on the Board of Governors of SOCMA.

Hiroshi Aoki

Treasurer

Mr. Aoki has a career of over 35 years with parent company Nagase & Co., Ltd. He has crossed the globe, including assignments in New York, Chattanooga, and Japan (Tokyo, Fukui), where he honed his expertise in various facets of international business, with over 22 years at Sofix in various roles. Treasurer at Sofix since 2018. MBA

Sean Reynolds

EHS Manager

Mr. Reynolds has 30+ years of experience in manufacturing and regulatory affairs. He has led, developed, and managed EHS programs at multi-site operations. Prior to joining Sofix, he held EHS, Quality, Management and Operations positions with manufacturers of textiles, steel drums, and the recycling of industrial packaging and containers.

Anthony Paolucci

Vice President of Operations

Mr. Paolucci has 26+ years of experience at Sofix from pilot to full scale chemical operations, utilizing both Chemistry and Chemical Engineering degrees. His expertise lies in optimizing processes with cost reduction in mind, implementing lean methodologies with commitment to quality and effectively leading personnel to achieve their full potential.

David Ormaza

Production Chemist

Mr. Ormaza has a Master’s in Chemistry with 5 years of experience in a research environment and synthesis of small molecules including carbohydrates and glycopeptides with 2 publications in ACS Neuroscience and Frontiers in Chemistry. At Sofix, Mr. Ormaza has developed synthesis routes and led scaleup for several acrylate molecules, and has expertise in the use and maintenance of multiple lab instruments and in development of analytical techniques.
